GSA required comprehensive building operations and maintenance for 1.2 million square feet of warehousing space to ensure continuous support to its customers. The project demanded a rapid ramp-up of union resources and seamless collective bargaining agreement negotiations to prevent work stoppages and maintain operational continuity during the transition.
Excelous was engaged by GSA to provide full operations, maintenance, and repair services for equipment, electrical, mechanical, fire protections, control, and architectural and structural systems. Within a three-week ramp-up period, Excelous successfully negotiated collective bargaining agreements and assembled a unionized workforce to support the complex. Additionally, Excelous delivered management, administrative, subcontracting, reimbursable building alterations, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to meet GSA’s needs.
