Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee government and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing contracts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery for government and commercial clients.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with customer requirements.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and compliance with federal regulations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Track project performance using KPIs, reports, and progress updates.
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements, policies, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare documentation, and provide status reports to leadership.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in government contracting or commercial industries.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred. Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
- Skills:
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, or other PM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
