Position Overview

Excelous is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee multiple projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with government and commercial contracting requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex programs, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring contract deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects under a broader program, ensuring successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program objectives and contract requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Oversee program performance, track milestones, and ensure compliance with government and commercial contract regulations.
  • Manage risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.
  • Drive operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and improve workflow processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and ensure profitability within the contractual framework.
  • Prepare and present reports on program status, performance metrics, and key insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Lead and mentor project managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements & Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of program or project management experience, preferably in government or commercial contracting.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Financial acumen to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Other: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
