Overcoming Challenges
As part of its IT Modernization roadmap, the Department of Treasury’s Office of Inspector General (TOIG) sought an experienced systems integrator to migrate and integrate its on-premises identity management, email and calendar systems, user and shared documents, and mobility management suite to an Office 365-E5 Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment. The migration required seamless integration of approximately 220 mailboxes and mobile devices, along with robust planning and change management to minimize operational disruptions.
Formulating the Strategy
Excelous partnered with TOIG to configure its Office 365 tenant and execute a comprehensive migration plan. This included providing discovery, planning, design, implementation, deployment, and organizational change management support services. Excelous ensured a smooth transition to the O365-GCC environment by addressing technical requirements and equipping staff with the tools and training necessary to adopt the new platform effectively.
Results Achieved
Successfully migrated 220 mailboxes and 220 mobile devices to TOIG’s O365-GCC environment without service interruptions.
Configured and optimized TOIG’s O365 tenant to meet federal security and operational standards.
